Whether you call yourself a Christia n or not at all\, these weekly sessions are tailored \;and open so th at all students \;can come and gain something valuable. \;As a Ch ristian Union we'\;re kicking off the term going through a series call ed '\;Meals with Jesus'\; where we will be exploring the Gospel acc ounts of Jesus'\; life\, focusing on some of the meals that he shared with people\, why it was significant and how it impacts us today as stude nts. \;

The Bible begins and ends with meals. God'\;s fi rst words to human beings was an invitation to eat and Jesus'\; first recorded miracle was at a wedding feast. Most of the accounts of Jesus 9\; life detail him either at a meal\, leaving a meal or going to a meal. Food is clearly an important theme in the Bible and we are going to read through Luke'\;s Gospel to uncover \;why and see how we can apply what we learn to our time at university. \;
