Ever wanted to learn how to braid your hair? Interested in being able to braid your friends' hair?

Join licensed braiding technician Siri Owho, from SIRIS Studios in London to learn about braiding! You'll be looking at the artistry, history and cultural significance behind textured hair and braiding, and getting hands-on practice learning basic and essential braiding techniques using mannequin heads.

- All equipment (mannequins, hair, tools) provided
- Beginner-friendly - you don't need to know anything!

Cooking Class 101 - Hungarian Chicken Paprikash with Nokedli! (20/11/2026, 16:00)

As part of our efforts to help students with the cost-of-living crisis, this year we are partnering with local charity Save the World Club to put on a series of free cooking classes for students!

Join us at Save the World Club (a 7 minute walk from Penrhyn Road Campus) to learn how to cook paprikash with Olivia, a licensed culinary teacher.

This will be the second of a few lessons across the year! In this second lesson, you'll learn how to make japchae, and will be taking it home with you.

❗ This recipe contains the following food allergens: gluten

✅ You will be paired up with another participant for the session.

✅ Please bring the standard adult lunch container (~600ml) for taking home your meal. Containers will NOT be provided.

Wear suitable clothing and closed-toe footwear for practical cooking activities.

The kitchen space at STWC is bright, airy and safe. This will be a small group of 8 students max, so grab a place while they're still available:

As part of our efforts to help students with the cost-of-living crisis, this year we are partnering with local charity Save the World Club to put on a series of free cooking classes for students!

Join us at Save the World Club (a 7 minute walk from Penrhyn Road Campus) to learn how to cook pad see ew (Thai stir fried noodles, gluten free) with Olivia, a licensed culinary teacher.

In this lesson, you'll learn how to make Thai pad see ew, and will be taking it home with you.

❗ This recipe contains the following food allergens: soy. This recipe is gluten free.

✅ You will be paired up with another participant for the session.

✅ Please bring the standard adult lunch container (~600ml) for taking home your meal. Containers will NOT be provided.
