Join us for a beginner-friendly Portrait Drawing Workshop hosted by kajen ,Vice President of Kingston Tamil Society ,in collaboration with Kingston Art Society and Kingston Tamil Society.

In this session, we will focus on understanding the fundamentals of portrait drawing in a simple and approachable way. Using one reference image, participants will be guided step-by-step through breaking down facial proportions, analysing basic shapes, placing key features correctly, and applying simple line work and shading techniques.

The aim of this workshop is to make portrait drawing feel less intimidating and more structured. Whether you’re new to drawing or looking to build confidence in your skills, this session will help you understand how to construct a face from the ground up.

All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is needed.
