Got questions about Varsity, what's on, parking, etc.? Take a read below.
Who are we playing?
London South Bank University. A new partnership, a new challenge, a new opportunity. There will be matches for men’s, women’s and mixed teams across 3 days of actions
Do I have to pay to go to Varsity?
No, entry is FREE for all Kingston students. We want as many of you at Tolworth as possible to cheer for #TeamKingston. You still need to register, link to be live soon.
Can I bring my friends or family down to watch?
Yes! Keep an eye out for tickets going live. This year, we are launching friends and family tickets. For just £5 per ticket, they get access to the full day of matches at Tolworth and Corinthians. Simply link the ticket to your KU number when ordering.
I don’t play for a team, why should I go to Varsity?
This is an opportunity to be with friends, watch live matches for FREE, and to support #TeamKingston. Bringing you DJ, 2x inflatables (basketball hoops and football darts),Society stalls, giant yard games including cornhole and ring toss, merch stand, delicious food trucks, brand activations (Dominos, Red bull and more!) Oh, and the bar will be open.
Will there be parking on-site?
Parking will be closed. It'll only be for sports teams coaches, disabled access, and societies to set up stalls.
What is the finale game?
Our Men’s Football 1st Team will be closing the three days of competition by playing South Bank 1s under the lights at Corinthians Casuals FC from 6 pm onwards. The ground is a 10-minute walk from Tolworth and has multiple bars, food vans, covered seats and covered standing terraces. Your ticket for Tolworth is valid for the game. Watch Dance Society and Cheer Team perform; there will be a celebratory feel to end the competition. Come down, enjoy the atmosphere and then head off to the Varsity After-Party with a direct bus straight from the ground to central Kingston.
What else is on?
In the build-up to Varsity, we have pep rallies taking place for you to come down, get in the school spirit and make signs that we will transport down to Tolworth ready for the day. On the day there will be a fan zone on PR campus with music, face painting and a bus stop right there to take you to Tolworth
