President candidate
If elected, what are your top three priorities in the role?
"I believe that a position like the President should have fixed aims to make the process more effective. To narrow it down, my three priorities, if elected as the President would be:
1. Representing the student body and acting as a bridge between the administration and student's voice. If the needs and opinions of the students are heard, nothing will stop Kingston University in becoming the most popular and desired university from all around the place. Regarding academics, welfare, diversity, campus life and more, I believe it to be my duty to ensure that student's voices are heard!
2. Organizing various groups for improving student experience around the campus with such engaging facilities, social activities, student clubs and academic support that can offer benefits to the campuses as well! Like Sustainability practices which brings together a supportive and learning environment for each individual.
3. Being involved in shaping a strong academic policy that will help the students to study and work on their assessment methods effectively. Encouraging the activities that come into action with great success is a key to leading a positive study setting! But that does not mean that some students will not face issues in those practices as well, therefore, supporting student well-being related to any mental or physical health and overall well-being of the individual is something that should be addressed and provide guidance accordingly.
Working with the other elected officers, which priority do you think you should share?
"From the three priorities that I mentioned above, I would like to think that if all elected officers come on a mutual decision with a brilliant idea that is first of all supported by themselves, the idea into action will be a huge success on everyone's part! As for choosing one of the priorities I mentioned, building a great social life for students would be effective only when multiple ideas are brought together and executed with utmost of positive outcome. "The more, the merrier!" stands true to discovering different opinions and creating unique ways in enhancing student's campus and social life.
How will you effectively represent and engage with your members?
"By hosting feedback sessions that can be in various ways like:
1. Through social media platforms - Instagram story interactions.
2. Reaching out to groups and engaging myself with diverse group of people all across the campuses that lead student clubs, departments and elected officials as well!
3. Through E-mail updates on what's new in each of the campuses or any issue that needs to be addressed. Sometimes even demonstrating how student voices will be heard is necessary for everyone to believe in their official leader.
4. Organizing interactive campaigns like contests and quizzes to keep the student community active!
