President candidate
1. If elected, what are your top three priorities?
If elected, I will be your advocate for real change. My top priorities are:
Restore & Repair: No more broken printers, faulty lifts, or outdated facilities. I will ensure essential campus resources are properly maintained so students can focus on what matters.
Cost of Living & Wellbeing: I will push for lower food prices, expanded hardship funds, and better access to essential resources because university should challenge your mind, not your finances.
Stronger Support for International Students: As an international student, I understand the challenges firsthand. I will advocate for monthly tuition payment plans, better visa and housing support, and a more inclusive campus.
Women’s Empowerment & Safety: Every student deserves to feel safe and supported. I will fight for free menstrual products, stronger campus safety measures, and improved support systems.
It is time for action, not empty promises.
2. Working with other elected officers, which priority do you think should be shared?
Collaboration is key to real change, and working with other elected officers, I believe Cost of Living & Wellbeing should be a shared priority.
Rising living costs affect all students, regardless of background or course. By working together, we can push for lower food prices, expanded hardship funds, and better financial support services to ensure no student has to choose between basic needs and their education. Addressing this issue collectively will allow us to implement practical, long-term solutions that truly benefit the student body.
3. How will you effectively represent and engage with your members?
Together, we can create a stronger, fairer, and more student-friendly Kingston University.
