School of Life Sciences Pharmacy and Chemistry School Rep Candidate
What do you think is the number one priority for students in your faculty?
For myself and many of the students at Kingston university, the highest priority is achieving a balance between academic success and personal well-being. We work to succeed in our coursework, acquire experience for our eventual careers, and make the most of the opportunities available while also placing mental health, social relationships, and financial security as priorities.
How would you represent students in your faculty?
I would represent students from our school by being their voice and ensuring their voices are heard. I believe that good representation starts with listening, so I would listen to students actively through meetings, surveys, and conversations to understand what they need. Whether it is improving academic support, advocating for better mental health services, or creating more opportunities for student involvement, I would work towards making things better. I would want each and every student to feel valued, included, and supported. My vision would be to make people feel more community so that all people have resources and opportunities for success.
