President candidate
If elected, what are your top three priorities in the role?
"Firstly be the voice of students to administration and focus on bringing meaningful changes. Secondly, organised activities that help with both social and professional development as a student community on the whole considering their suggestions. Lastly, take feedback from students and faculty, make suggestions, Collaborate with Uni administration and faculty and work towards improving the overall student experience at the university."
Working with the other elected officers, which priority do you think you should share?
"Working with Elected officers, I believe organising activities that brings students together and have them engaged, have fun and learn at the same time while having an actual positive impact in their professional development. Understanding the pulse of the crowd and having them involved is a challenge that needs to be addressed. I believe that is the difference between online and offline courses, the factor of involvement and natural engagement."
How will you effectively represent and engage with your members?
"Being open to suggestions, considering the larger opinion, while holding the ground with what's right and finding a common ground that is convincing to all has always helped me in my previous leadership roles. When everyone is treated equally, felt heard, considered important at the table, the whole process gets efficient while keeping everyone engaged in working towards the goal in sight."
