Dorich House Museum Tour and Postcard Making
Join us for a delightful day of art, history, and creativity at the Dorich House Museum, the former studio home of sculptor Dora Gordine and her husband, scholar Richard Hare. Dorich House is celebrated for its stunning design, serene atmosphere, and remarkable collection of sculpture, art, and cultural artefacts.
Our visit begins with a guided tour of the museum, offering a fascinating insight into Dora Gordine’s life, work, and artistic legacy. You’ll have the chance to explore her beautifully preserved studio spaces and discover how she blended art, architecture, and design in her creative practice.
Following the tour, we’ll enjoy a postcard-making session inspired by the surroundings. Using simple materials, you’ll create your own unique postcard a personal memento of your visit and a reflection of the art and history that fill Dorich House.
All materials will be provided, and no prior art experience is needed just bring your curiosity and creativity!
Come and enjoy an inspiring experience combining art appreciation, hands-on creativity, and the welcoming spirit of The Arts Society.
