Drone Project – Theory Session & Licence Preparation

This is a Members Only session for the KU Aerospace Society.

Join us for the official launch of the Drone Project. This session will introduce the essential drone theory required before we begin practical flying and start obtaining your drone licences. 

We will cover the fundamentals of drone operation, safety, regulations, and airspace awareness — all of which are mandatory for anyone wishing to participate in the society’s main Drone Project this year. Attendance and being a member is essential, as members who do not complete the theory sessions will not be able to join the drone build or flying activities later on.

This workshop is the first step towards developing your skills in UAV engineering, autonomous flight, and preparing for future national drone competitions. Come ready to learn and take the first step towards becoming a certified drone pilot.
