Hi! Welcome to Kingston Students' Union
Focused exam-oriented revision covering core propulsion thermodynamics. Members only!
Revision Session 1 focuses on Propulsion – Thermodynamics, designed to support members preparing for upcoming assessments and strengthen core understanding of propulsion fundamentals.
The session will revisit key thermodynamic principles used in aerospace propulsion systems, including cycle analysis, efficiency terms, temperature–pressure relationships, and how these concepts apply to real engines. Emphasis will be placed on common exam pitfalls, worked examples, and clear step-by-step explanations to reinforce understanding.
This is a guided revision session, not a lecture — members are encouraged to bring questions, notes, and past problems they want clarified. The aim is to build confidence, improve problem-solving speed, and connect theory directly to propulsion applications.
