Over the past month, we have been seeking nominations from students to fill the few vacant School Community Rep and Faculty Rep roles. Most of the roles were filled in our March 2025 Election.
- School Community Reps exist to represent student interests at a school level, engage with relevant Course Reps by coordinating school-level feedback and issues, and help build student communities across their School.
- Faculty Reps exist to represent student interests and support the coordination of student vocie across their faculty and, as Student Council members, hold the three Student officers to account, represent students, and agree policies of the Union.
Unfortunately, there was a problem where we lost some of the candidacies just after voting opened. We have identified solutions so this problem won't happen again, but we were unable to restore the lost candidacies. We believe this problem impacted the election of one role, but it also impacted the voting records of two more roles.
If you are a student who nomimated themselves and had their candidacy lost, please email us at representation@kingston.ac.uk before 24 October 2025 and we will identify a resolution to ensure you have a fair shot at stepping into the relevant role.
We are happy to announce that the following students have been elected:
- Dayna Martin - Computer Science & Mathematics (UG) School Community Rep
- Chloe Hosie - Education, Midwifery, & Social Work (UG) School Community Rep
