Vice President Samad Chaudhry resigns

KSUStudent Officers

Samad Chaudhry has resigned from his position as Vice President at Kingston Students’ Union.

Samad was first elected as President in 2023, being inspired to run in our elections after working as student staff, supporting helpdesk, our events programme, and Not My Beautiful House.

This summer Samad was re-elected as Vice President 24-25, but unfortunately due to personal reasons, he has since made the difficult decision to resign. In his role as Vice President this year, Samad met hundreds of students, networked at conferences across the UK, and attended important KU meetings such as the Board of Governors.

KSU President and Vice President, Abdullah and Ckyra, will be working on Samad’s priorities for the year in addition to their own. In March 2025, we will run elections to decide your leaders for 25-26.
