We are delighted to announce the results of the 2026 KSU Elections, revealed during a vibrant Results Night in the Collaboration Space celebrating democracy and student voice at Kingston.
This year’s elections saw an incredible level of engagement, with 21 candidates standing across 7 positions and a total of 8,445 votes cast by 3,313 students. This represents an 18% turnout, marking a significant milestone for student participation at Kingston as this was the highest voter turnout since 2018!
The success of this year’s elections reflects the dedication of candidates, their campaign teams, and voters. Students campaigned across all four campuses across three days, getting students involved from all areas of the university community.
Notable highlights include:
- Top Faculty turnout: Faculty of Business and Social Sciences (14.8%)
- Top School turnout: School of Life Sciences, Pharmacy & Chemistry (25.1%)
- Top small student group turnout: Entrepreneurs Society (69.2%)
- Top large student group turnout: Tamil Society (63.4%)

Campus Reps:
- Penrhyn Road Campus Representative: Devon Driver
- Kingston Hill Campus Representative: Raghav Somani
There were no nominations for Roehampton Vale and Knights Park campuses. These roles will be filled through a by-election.
Faculty Reps:
- Undergraduate Health, Science, Social Care and Education: Ana Maria Medeiros Assed
- Postgraduate Taught Engineering, Computing and the Environment: Yanzhen Dai
- Undergraduate Business and Social Sciences: Mahi Mishra
