Over the past year, we conducted a research project to understand the experiences of Kingston students who work alongside their studies.
We launched the research project in November 2025 with the publication of a briefing document and the launch of a survey. Following the survey, we conducted two focus groups to dig deeper on the most pertinent topics that emerged from the survey.
Drawing on these insights, we developed a set of recommendations for both the University and KSU to better support Kingston students who work. You can explore all the findings and recommendations in our research report.
This report is just the beginning. Together with the University, we'll continue our work to turn these recommendations into actions and make meaningful change at Kingston.
