Find out which representatives you'll be voting in:

Student Officers

Student Officers are elected in Spring to start in the Summer of that year to represent you. This is a full-time paid opportunity where you take a one year break from study.

Student Trustees

You will join the Board of Trustees which oversees all of the administration and management of the Union including the governance and finances of the organisation. This is an important position that will give you access to the highest levels of decision-making and management within the Union.

Campus Representatives

Campus Reps represent you based on where you study. They are elected in Spring to start at the beginning of the next academic year. You must be a continuing student to take up this role.

Academic Representatives

School Reps represent your academic interest, and are elected in Autumn for their role in the same academic year.

Faculty Reps represent the faculty you study in, and are elected in Spring to start at the beginning of the next academic year. You must be a continuing student to take up this role. We have some vacancies for Faculty Reps as part of the Autumn Elections.

Interested in being a Course Rep? Find more information here!

Society & Sports Leaders

There’s a whole array of opportunities to lead societies and sports, including President, Secretary, Treasurer, etc. You must have a valid membership to a society or sport and be a continuing student to consider these roles.

Find your society or sports club

In the Autumn elections we will be electing 10 students to our Student Group Executive.

The Student Group Executive will be formed of 5 Society Committee members and 5 Sport Committee members.

The Student Group Executive will meet monthly to discuss matters related to the Union and Student Groups.

Complaints

If you have a complaint, let us know no later than 1 hour after voting closes.

All complaints will be addressed by the RO/ DRO in conjunction with any appointed deputies where necessary. Please include as much detail as possible.
