Postgraduate Research Faculty of Health, Science, Social Care and Education Faculty Rep Candidate

Bharvi Patil

What do you think is the number one priority for students in your faculty?

The number one priority for students in the Faculty of Health, Science, Social Care and Education is to gain a comprehensive understanding of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills relevant to their field. For MSc students in Pharmaceutical Science with Management Studies, this involves mastering advanced pharmaceutical concepts while developing essential management competencies. Balancing academic excellence with real-world application is crucial, as it prepares students to effectively contribute to the healthcare industry. Additionally, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving abilities ensures graduates are equipped to innovate and lead in a rapidly evolving scientific and healthcare landscape.

How would you represent students in your faculty?

To effectively represent students in the Faculty of Health, Science, Social Care and Education, I would actively engage with my peers to understand their academic and professional needs. I would facilitate open communication channels, encouraging students to share feedback on coursework, practical experiences, and management modules. By collaborating with faculty members, I would advocate for resources that enhance both theoretical learning and practical skills. Additionally, I would organize workshops and networking events to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry demands, ensuring students are well-prepared to excel in the dynamic field of pharmaceutical science and management.
