President candidate

Muhammad Zafran

If elected, what are your top three priorities in the role?

"If elected as President, I will lead with purpose, passion, and impact, focusing on three key pillars: Leadership Development, Relationship Building & Networking, and Bringing Groundbreaking Opportunities for Students.

Advocacy for Students' Needs, Ensuring that student voices are heard and addressing the most pressing concerns, such as mental health support, financial aid accessibility, and academic resources. And

Improvement of Campus Services, Working to enhance campus infrastructure, including better facilities, accessible transportation, and more student-friendly spaces for studying or socialising.

Enhancing Campus Engagement, Promoting inclusivity and fostering a stronger sense of community by organising events that cater to diverse student interests, from academic to extracurricular

Working with the other elected officers, which priority do you think you should share?

"If elected president, I would share the priority of enhancing student engagement and representation with other officers. This includes ensuring diverse student voices are heard and fostering inclusivity. Additionally, improving campus resources like mental health services, academic support, and financial aid would require collaboration with officers in relevant areas. Lastly, transparency and communication between student government, administration, and the student body is essential, and this should be a joint effort to keep everyone informed and involved in decision-making processes.

How will you effectively represent and engage with your members?

"To effectively represent and engage with members, I would:

Hold Regular Office Hours & Town Halls: Provide open forums for students to voice concerns, ask questions, and suggest ideas.

Use Digital Platforms: Engage students through social media, surveys, and email updates to ensure everyone has a voice, even those unable to attend in person.

Create Focus Groups: Collaborate with diverse student groups to address specific concerns and tailor solutions to various needs.

Transparent Communication: Regularly update students on initiatives and progress, ensuring they feel heard and informed.
