Permanent physical space for KSU in all campuses

    Current
Providing a dedicated KSU space on every campus throughout the year would enhance student access, representation, wellbeing, and engagement. A visible and accessible presence ensures that all students, regardless of their campus location or study pattern, can easily access advice, support services, academic representation, and opportunities to participate in university life. A year-round physical presence also helps foster a stronger sense of belonging and community, particularly for commuter, placement, postgraduate, and international students who may otherwise feel disconnected from university activities. Dedicated KSU spaces can serve as hubs for peer support, student-led initiatives, events, and democratic participation, strengthening student voice and enabling the KSU to gather feedback and respond effectively to local campus needs. Furthermore, equitable access to KSU services across all campuses demonstrates the university’s commitment to inclusivity, student partnership, and a consistent student experience. By embedding the KSU within each campus community, the university can support student success, wellbeing, retention, and overall satisfaction.
