Kingston University Turkish Society is a space where Turkish culture, language, and community come together. We welcome everyone—whether you are Turkish, have roots in Turkiye or are simply interested in learning about Turkish traditions, cuisine, music, and lifestyle. Our main aim is to bring Turkish students and enthusiasts together to build a warm, supportive community where people can: Make friends and have fun Support each other in adapting to university life, studying, and daily challenges We also organise events that celebrate Turkish culture and bring people together, such as: Traditional Turkish dinners and breakfasts Celebrations of national and cultural days Indoor and social activities like board games, okey (Rummikub), card games, and bowling Whether you grew up in Turkey or are just curious, Kingston Turkish Society is the place to explore, learn, and share experiences in a friendly, inclusive environment.
