Your voice at University

Meet your Student Officers

Elected by you, your student officers represent your academic, social, and wellbeing needs during your time at Kingston University.

Your voice matters, and your officers are here to listen and act on your behalf.

Your Officers have spent this Summer developing their manifestos into actionable objectives. These objectives were ratified by Student Council on the 30th October.

  2. By May 2026, have an Active Bystander & Student Support Initiative set-up in partnership between KSU and KU, aimed at student empowerment, reducing sexual harassment, and eradicating period poverty.
  3. By June 2026, at least 80% of students to feel confident that their academic interests have been represented by KSU and that 80% feel equipped and confident for their future.

Manifesto Objectives - Ckyra Laurence (Vice President)

  2. At least 75% of students will feel safe and confident to look after themeselves in university spaces and accommodation by May 2026, by providing opportunities and support.
  3. By May 2026, ensure at least 60% of Black students feel able to do more than just study whilst on campus, by tailoring events and opportunities, and enacting the recommendations of the Black Student Experience Project Report.
